“Margie Rice brings years of experience and knowledge of city and county government, a long history of resolving community issues, and an unmatched commitment to the concepts of social justice and restorative justice and a desire to assure every citizen's fair treatment under the law. I am proud to be the Chair of Margie’s campaign for Monroe County Prosecuting Attorney.”

Because I strongly believe in accountability, I also believe in Social Justice or the just and fair relations between each individual and the society in which the individual resides. Social Justice assumes a mutual or reciprocal relationship. Each owes a duty to the other.
Maintaining peace and public safety is, arguably, the most important role that a local government serves. Without peace of mind and safety, it is impossible to do the things that bring joy and meaning to our lives, including working, establishing a home and raising our families. The County Prosecutor is a key player in maintaining public safety and, as Monroe County Prosecutor, keeping Monroe County citizens and those who visit our community safe will be my main goal.
